The Tamar Lakes are perfect for walking and enjoying wildlife they also offer a variety of watersports.
The towns of Holsworthy and Bideford offer weekly livestock and open-air markets, swimming pools and other sports recreations and a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants.
If you like fresh water fishing then Jennetts Reservoir is not far away just south of Bideford with Carp to 30lbs.
